Agriculture
All members of the Gem Valley Team have a close and personal history in agriculture and timber. Ruby grew up on a dry crop wheat farm and began appraising farms and ranches for FDIC in 1986. Sarah also grew up on a potato and row-crop farm, dedicating her college internship to understanding agriculture credit functions. From 2000 to 2009, Ruby taught Ag Econ 361, a Farm and Natural Resource appraisal course at University of Idaho. With agriculture and timber production being such a large part of the north Idaho and eastern Washington landscape, GVA is able to provide demonstrated knowledge, experience, and competence in performing Agriculture and Timber real estate appraisal analysis.
